Activation & updates

This page describes the GsSpawners release candidate. For another plugin, follow the activation instructions included with its download.

Activate GsSpawners

1. Install the plugin and start Paper once.
2. Put the seller-provided activation-code.txt in plugins/GsSpawners/.
3. Run /gsspawners license retry.
4. Check /gsspawners license status.

Automatic BuiltByBit activation is supported, but the marketplace listing is still being connected. A real marketplace download has not yet been verified. Use your seller-provided activation method during testing.

Offline activation

Send support your purchase ID and the contents of plugins/GsSpawners/installation-id.txt. Save the issued license.txt in that folder, then restart.

Each purchase allows two server installations. Offline licenses count toward that limit. Ask support for a transfer before changing hosts or moving the plugin data folder.

Updates

Verified updates download in the background and install on a normal restart. Back up first.

To manage updates yourself, edit plugins/GsSpawners/licensing.yml:

auto-update: false

Keep one GsSpawners jar in plugins/. Keep the existing data folder when replacing the jar.

If the service is unavailable

A valid cached online license continues to work until its expiry. Online licenses last up to 30 days and normally refresh every six hours. A transfer or revocation blocks renewal; a previously issued cached license remains valid until expiry. Offline licenses last until their signed expiry.

What activation sends

Activation sends the product, a derived installation ID, purchase proof or activation code, and the connection IP. Raw machine IDs and network adapter addresses are not uploaded. Keep activation files private.
